Meantime: between project and action

From imagination to action, from saying to doing, from theory to implementation: in the middle, there is a bridge-space, where the mind breathes, thinks, plans, organizes, produces. What is the value of this “gap”? Can “taking time”, in our time, be considered as a brave act? Can the "meantime" become a new "incubator of future"? These questions will animate the next edition of the Oscar Pomilio Blumm Forum, focused on the theme “The meantime. Starting over from thought: between planning and action”.

The main guest of the event will be Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, one of the most well-known and appreciated athletes in sports history: the legendary American basketball player, now author and cultural critic for primary newspapers such as The New York Times, awarded with the Presidential Medal of Freedom of the United States, is considered the inventor of the sky hook, the strike that has revolutionized in 3 seconds the way in which basketball is played and the whole sports universe.

The event - now at its sixth edition - will take place, as every year, in the Italian city of Pescara (Abruzzo Region), on Saturday March 11th at 4.45 p.m., in the beautiful building Aurum – Ideas Factory.
